They wouldn't. They would just say "as an immediate action, one ally within 10 spaces can charge the target".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5542288088513943439.post-5295415283723813862008-11-02T07:06:00.000-07:002008-11-02T07:06:00.000-07:00Anyone know whether or not an ally can charge alon...Anyone know whether or not an ally can charge along with you as an immediate reaction to the first charge (i.e. the iron dragon charge itself) or does the effect kick in only with all the subsequent charges you make?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11852652307319848883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5542288088513943439.post-51880966507846702572008-06-17T10:25:00.000-06:002008-06-17T10:25:00.000-06:00Okay, I now agree with you, having seen the way th...Okay, I now agree with you, having seen the way that the powers have been laid out.

The initial Target: is for the Hit: 3[W]+Strength damage, and the Effect: is an extra benefit from that charge, basically girding your allies: "Look how much damage I do when I charge this guy -- why not join me as I do so to his friends?"

I stand corrected. No DMG-swatting my players -- for this one, anyway.Crwthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00040674620903529496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5542288088513943439.post-35276667056995276042008-06-17T09:40:00.000-06:002008-06-17T09:40:00.000-06:00I also interpret iron dragon charge as allowing ne...I also interpret iron dragon charge as allowing new targets for the rest of the encounter. I think thats what the rules are saying. On top of that, the power doesn't make much sense under your interpretation. If it is only one enemy that can be charged, it doesn't make sense to have the power last until the end of the encounter. Only very unusual circumstances will result in one character charging the same enemy more than once.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5542288088513943439.post-25905536355559340082008-03-27T20:27:00.000-06:002008-03-27T20:27:00.000-06:00I hope the DMG is light weight and free of sharp c...I hope the DMG is light weight and free of sharp corners because that was exactly how I interpreted the wording of that Iron Dragon Charge. ;-)Griffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05854226755305203275noreply@blogger.com
